I strive to create a warm and supportive space where clients feel safe slowing down, exploring their experiences, and reconnecting with themselves. Together, we work to better understand patterns, build on strengths, and notice the small moments of hope and resilience — the “glimmers” that remind us healing and growth are possible. It would be an honor to support you as you navigate challenges and move toward meaningful change.
My Story
Hi, I’m Sharol! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of the Incarnate Word and my Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance from Texas A&M University–San Antonio. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision at St. Mary's University.

My clinical experience includes working in community mental health and school-based counseling with children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also have experience supporting individuals impacted by emotional abuse, domestic abuse, and divorce.
As someone who grew up in an immigrant household, I deeply value the role culture, family, and lived experiences play in shaping who we are. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish and am passionate about supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, including members of the Hispanic and Latino communities.
I especially enjoy working with women and adolescent girls navigating identity, relationships, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, strength-based, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT skills, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and expressive techniques such as sand tray and creative arts when they feel supportive to the healing process.
