Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or not like yourself? You don't have to figure it out alone.

EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing
What is EMDR?
EMDR is a structured therapy designed to help your brain process and “file away” difficult experiences that feel stuck.

When something overwhelming happens, your brain doesn’t always process it properly. Instead of becoming a past memory, it can stay active—triggering anxiety, panic, intrusive thoughts, or emotional reactions that feel out of proportion.

EMDR helps “unstick” those memories.

Using guided techniques (often involving bilateral stimulation like eye movements, tapping, or sounds), EMDR supports your brain in reprocessing the experience so it becomes something that happened—not something that keeps happening.

EMDR may be a good fit if you:
-
You feel triggered by reminders of past experiences
-
You can’t stop thinking about something that happened
-
Your body holds onto stress
-
You’ve experienced trauma (big or small)
-
You feel stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand
Curious if EMDR is right for you? Let’s talk.
Is EMDR hard?

It can be—but it’s also designed to be safe, structured, and paced for you.

You won’t be thrown into the deep end. A good EMDR therapist spends time helping you build coping skills and emotional stability before processing begins.

You’re always in control of the pace.

Many people are surprised to find that they don’t have to talk through every detail of their experience for EMDR to work. The focus is less on retelling the story—and more on helping your brain resolve it.
