What does an evaluation involve?

Your evaluation is a structured clinical interview designed to understand your experiences and how they relate to your immigration case.​

This typically includes:

  • You personal and family background

  • Past trauma or hardship experiences

  • Mental health history and current symptoms

  • Your current life situation and stressors

  • Your support system in the U.S.

  • The potential impact of immigration outcomes

  • Evaluations are usually completed over 2-3 sessions.
