About Me2.png

Hi, I’m Madyson! My goal is to create a warm, safe space where you can show up exactly as you are—no judgment, no pressure. Think of it as a cozy spot to untangle the thoughts and feelings weighing you down, explore what’s underneath them, and discover new ways to move forward. Together, we’ll make sense of the patterns that might be keeping you stuck and help you feel more grounded, connected, and true to yourself.

My Story

Hi! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a passion for helping people better understand themselves, their emotions, and their relationships. My journey into counseling began with a deep curiosity about people and the ways our experiences shape who we are.

Growing up in a military family and being the first in my family to graduate college, I experienced major life transitions, change, and loss firsthand. Those experiences helped shape my understanding of resilience, healing, and personal growth, and continue to influence the way I connect with clients today.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the The University of Texas at Austin and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary's University.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, grief, emotional overwhelm, and identity exploration. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and free to show up exactly as they are.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I often draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy, which means we’ll explore both the emotions you carry and the stories you tell yourself about who you are and what you’ve experienced.

I believe healing happens through connection, curiosity, and compassion. My goal is to help clients feel heard and understood while building insight, confidence, and healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges.
