Asking for help can be so hard to do, but being brave doesn’t always mean being fearless. Being scared and moving forward despite that fear is brave! However, you don’t have to do it alone. I believe we all have a story and that our stories have meaning. They help us find our purpose in life, our individual strengths, who we are and who we can be, and if we look hard enough, the magic in the world.
If you’re the hero in your story, I’m the sidekick. I’m the Robin to your Batman, the Sam to your Frodo, and the Ron to your Harry. I will be right there with you in the trenches as we work together to overcome whatever is bringing you to therapy.
My Story
My name is Kelly Clarke, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor in Texas. While I have experience working with children, couples, and families, my passion lies in working with teenagers and adults. As you’ve probably gathered from exploring our website and reading my bio, I am a huge geek. I love watching movies, reading books, playing games, and, above all else, going to Disney World because all of these activities remind us that we are perfectly imperfect and that it’s okay to make mistakes. I’m here to support you—no judgment, no shame.

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, kink, LGBTQ+ concerns, self-esteem struggles, and other complex mental health challenges including PTSD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
I earned my Master of Science in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Denver. I’ve worked in community mental health, trauma recovery, addiction treatment, and outpatient counseling settings including UT Health’s Transitional Care Clinic, the Rape Crisis Center, Starlite Recovery Center, the San Antonio Counseling and Behavioral Center, and Spring Oaks Counseling.
I’m warm, collaborative, a little nerdy, and completely judgment-free. Therapy with me is a space where you can show up as your full, messy, authentic self without worrying about being “too much.” Whether life feels overwhelming, relationships are complicated, or your brain just won’t stop yelling at you, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

I believe in working collaboratively with my clients by utilizing their strengths to help them overcome challenging situations in their lives. Since every client is an individual with different circumstances and needs, my approach to treatment is client-centered, meaning it’s all about you! We will work together to help you achieve your goals and live your best life. I have experience with a wide range of treatment modalities, including Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Art Therapy.
My goal as your therapist is to meet you where you are with compassion, authenticity, respect, and, above all else, non-judgment.
