Therapist
Madyson Newberry, LPC-A
Hi, I’m Madyson! My goal is to create a warm, safe space where you can show up exactly as you are—no judgment, no pressure. Think of it as a cozy spot to untangle the thoughts and feelings weighing you down, explore what’s underneath them, and discover new ways to move forward. Together, we’ll make sense of the patterns that might be keeping you stuck and help you feel more grounded, connected, and true to yourself.
"Therapy is less about finding answers and more about discovering the parts of yourself that have been waiting to be heard."

My Story
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, and I often draw from Emotion-Focused and Narrative Therapy in my work. That means I help you see your emotions as guides rather than obstacles, while exploring the stories you hold about yourself. Together, we’ll uncover new ways of understanding your experiences, your relationships, and the path you want to create moving forward.
My journey into counseling began with a love of understanding people, leading me to earn my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University. Growing up in a military family and being the first in my family to graduate college, I’ve personally navigated big life transitions and moments of loss. Those experiences shaped how I see resilience, healing, and growth, and why I feel so strongly about meeting clients where they are, walking alongside them, and supporting them as they discover their own strengths and paths forward.
I believe therapy should feel like a mix of curiosity, connection, and compassion. We’ll laugh where we can, sit with the hard stuff when we need to, and always keep your values and hopes at the center of the work. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported as you explore the parts of yourself that have been waiting to be discovered.
