My Story

Hi, I’m Brittney, a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at St. Mary’s University. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) in 2020. Originally from the Rio Grande Valley, I moved to San Antonio in 2016 to pursue my education—and along the way, I discovered a deep passion for supporting others through counseling.

As a proud mother of two, my personal journey has given me a meaningful perspective on life’s challenges and the resilience it takes to overcome them. This insight guides my commitment to creating a safe, supportive space where individuals feel empowered to explore their experiences, heal, and move forward with confidence.

In my counseling work, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) because I believe in the transformative power of understanding how our thoughts shape our behaviors and relationships. I approach each client with empathy, openness, and optimism—and I’m genuinely honored to walk alongside those seeking healing and growth.

I look forward to hearing your story and supporting you on your path toward self-discovery and wellness.
